Within the framework of the MoU signed between the Quality Assurance Agency in Education (TKTA) and "Norm" OJSC, the second, i.e. practical, stage of the evaluation and recognition exam for the profession "Construction Master" was held for the masters of Norm Ustalar Klubu.
The skills of 21 of the 23 masters who successfully passed the theoretical exam and were entitled to participate in the practical exam were examined. The practical exams lasted for 3 days, and the masters completed the tasks under the modules of "Installation of reinforced concrete frame of the building", "Wall masonry and roofing", "Finishing works: plastering, doors - windows, stairs, sanitary junctions, painting works, sewage, water works" and " The skills were tested on the modules of landscaping works and handover of construction.
The work of the masters, who performed the tasks given by the experts within the stipulated time frame, was evaluated according to several criteria.
On the last day of the exam, an evaluation commission was organized. Representatives of the Quality Assurance Agency in Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the company as an employer acted as part of the commission. The skills of each of the masters were evaluated both individually and in teamwork, and based on the final opinion of the commission members, the results of each of the 21 masters were evaluated as sucessful. At the next stage, masters will receive a document that gives them the right to start working in professional specialties within the framework of the Rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 279 dated August 5, 2020.
The project was launched at the beginning of the year, and the masters were involved in training during this period, and then in the theoretical exam. The company's goal in implementing the project is to contribute to the professional development of masters, to create conditions for increasing their sustainable employment opportunities, and to support the improvement of their social well-being.
