On March 15th, "Norm" OJSC held a public hearing on the "Utilization of oil sludge in the kiln line of the Norm Cement plant." Residents of Umid settlement, representatives from "SOCAR Downstream," "Premium Mining" companies, an independent expert, and other stakeholders participated in the public hearing.
During the event, the public was informed about "Norm" OJSC's sustainable development policy on environmental protection, and the company's future goals were discussed in this regard. In this context, information on testing and the results of the utilization of oil sludge as an alternative fuel at the Norm Cement plant was presented to the participants. Stakeholder questions were addressed by both Norm experts and an independent expert.

Opportunities for achieving these goals are actively being explored.
